History & Legacy

Experience an enchanting escape at The Ajit Bhawan, India’s first Heritage Hotel. Originally built in 1927, this regal residence was transformed into a pioneer of heritage hotels by Maharaj Swaroop Singh Ji and Rani Usha Devi.

Garden Restaurant

Most beautiful location of the hotel. It can take 250 pax for a sit-down dinner with entertainment. It has a special area where mandap can he set up for pheras.

Under a canopy of green trees and surrounded by atmospheric yellow lights, we can organise a 250 pax sit-dinner at the lovely, al fresco Garden Restaurant. A stage can be accommodated for entertainers. There’s also a special area where a mandap can be set up for the pheras.

JODHPUR Café

The luxurious and comfortable Jodhpur Café can cater to all kinds of dining needs. It can accommodate about 200 guests. Celebrate your special day with a lavish buff et lunch or dinner at Jodhpur Café, where every dish can be handpicked by you from our carefully curated menu. Our talented chefs, adept at both Indian and international cuisines, work to high culinary standards. Food is an integral part of wedding festivities, and we will pull out all the stops to ensure that you are served the best.

J’Bar

The J Bar can be the perfect backdrop for your bachelor’s party or after-wedding celebration. With a capacity for 300 guests, it’s the right place to let your hair down before or after the more solemn ceremonies take place. J Bar serves a wide range of premium spirits, rare vintage wines and signature cocktails. The decor is classic—polished wooden fl ooring, upholstered bar stools and couches, and tasteful panels. All of this is elevated by a touch of whimsy: multicoloured lampshades and knick-knacks hanging from the ceiling.

DHANI RESTAURANT

With its rustic ambience of thatched roofs and mud fl oors, the Dhani restaurants is one of the most exciting venues for your wedding festivities to play out. Here, your guests can savour traditional delicacies served in thalis, all while enjoying a live performance of the ravanhatt a to add a touch of magic to your celebration.

Shamyana

A tented meeting room equipped with a 120-inch interactive screen, a camera, and a seating capacity of 120 guests in a theatre-style setup or 70 guests in cluster seating.

Lunch between 1 pm to 3 pm at Jodhpur Café (Menu can be planned with our Chef)
High Tea-4 pm to 5 pm at the Garden Restaurant,
High Tea – At the Osian Sand Dunes (60 kms / 1 hour from the hotel) with camel & Jeep safari and viewing of sunset. Traditional welcome with Safa & Chunari, mesmerising decoration of the sand dune venue with mashals, bajot gadda – bolster seating, culminating with kalbelia langa performance & DJ. Hi Tea delicacies, cocktail snacks & all food items provided by Ajit Bhawan.
Return to Jodhpur after cocktail dinner in Volvo coaches/cars before midnight

Breakfast at the Jodhpur Café between 7 am to 10.30 am including Jodhpur Specialty counters such as Mishrilal Ki Lassi, Chaturbhuj Ke Gulab Jamun, Mohan Ji Ke Laddu, Mava Kachori, Mirchi Bada, Pyaz Ki Kachori, Shahi Samosa, Kadhai Milk, Kulhad Chai & many more.
Mehandi Ceremony at The Dhani with Lunch at Garden Restaurant (white pebble area) between 1 pm to 3 pm.
Performance of Kalbelia & Langa or DJ can be arranged at the pool deck area.
High Tea between 4 pm to 5 pm can be organised in the lawn area of the Garden Restaurant. The menu can be planned with our chef.
Sangeet Ceremony can take place at Zanana Garden from 8 pm onwards till II pm with snacks service & dinner with stalls set up.
After party can be organised at J Bar & in its surroundings.

Baraat Procession will be held for one hour at a time suggested by you. Welcome drinks & dry fruits can be offered to Baraat as per discussion.
Reception Dinner venue can be Zanana Garden (inside the hotel) with separate banquet entry with snacks service and dinner with stalls set up. Menu shall be discussed with the chef

SPECIAL MENTIONS

As Ajit Bhawan is a Uving Palace of the Royal Family, we've safeguarded recipes of the olden times, which can be offered to our esteemed guests. The hotel has a Chef Consultant on board, who's services can be availed in designing the menus as per your choice. We do not encourage outside catering.
Hotel also has a Halwai section that can meet up all your requirements for local dishes & flavours.
We have our contacts all over the country to arrange various state's regional dishes, chaat or live counters etc. to add WOW factor to your events.
Hotel can offer an ironing package to the wedding guests.
The hotel can arrange: Bridal makeup and make up for the women guests.
Pick up & drop from airport/railway station.
Accommodation for drivers provided.
Flower & light decoration can also be arranged.
The hotel has a Royal Carriage. Palki and fleet of Vintage Cars which can be used to create an extra charm.
After the wedding, make sure to avail the complimentary stay offered by the hotel at its sister property - Rawla Nariai for a romantic getaway.
